Quantum was released in May 2014. According to Sotheby’s, this work is “the first ever created” NFT.

Two other digital lots will also be auctioned: the rare CryptoPunk # 7523, released in 2017, and The Shell Record by Anna Riedler.

The auction will take place from June 3 to June 10. They plan to accept bets in both fiat and cryptocurrency. The starting price is $ 100.

The organizers will donate part of the proceeds to the non-profit organization Sevens Foundation, which promotes aspiring digital artists.
