Canadian regulators have approved the launch of the CI Galaxy Bitcoin ETF, an exchange-traded fund from CI Global Asset Management (CI GAM) and Galaxy Digital by Mike Novogratz. This was reported in a press release .
The listing of the financial instrument under the ticker BTCX will take place on March 9 at the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX).
CI GAM also plans to merge an existing $ 172 million bitcoin fund with a new ETF.
The Financial Product Manager will be CI GAM. Galaxy Digital Capital Management LP will act as co-manager.
