Many representatives of Russian show business are engaged in cryptocurrencies, said Emin Agalarov, a musician and first vice president of Crocus Group, in an interview on RBC.
According to him, while not all artists accept cryptocurrency as payment for performances, however, many “are engaged in cryptocurrency, because they understand how it can be potentially profitable.”
Agalarov himself accepts fees in bitcoin and is engaged in mining.
“There are customers who find it easier and faster to pay with bitcoins today,” he said.
The artist said that he started working in cryptocurrency when Bitcoin was worth about $ 6,000.
“Bitcoin is the most popular cryptocurrency. Everyone who wants to deal with cryptocurrencies primarily thinks about bitcoin, ”he said.
In addition to mining farms in Moscow, Agalarov and partners organized a system for remote mining.
Recall that representatives of the music industry are increasingly interested in Bitcoin. Kiss member Gene Simmons spoke in February about his investment in the first “seven-figure” cryptocurrency .
